Daisy Smith: Shift Pattern/The Choir
Daisy Smith: Shift Pattern/The Choir
Part of a series of drawings narrating the antics of an ex-care-worker living in a time gone by employed in a grand old hospital. She has found their medicine stockpiles, and due to their market price, she has begun smuggling the medicines out of the factory in cherry pies via her second job. She then distributes the medicines among her family and ex-patients.
Smith started developing these drawings when she was working night shifts in a care home during the pandemic.
