Rob is very creative chap. During half term he will be staying at home and writing his book in his room. He does not like to be disturbed by his younger sister. Not only is he good at writing but he also creates beautiful illustrations. Colourful characters include superheroes, doctors, robbers, potatoes and more. His face is covered in freckles which his parents and his friends adore.

About the Artist

Egle Jauncems (b. 1984) currently works and lives in London. Before beginning her first BA degree in Sinology at Vilnius University she was actively involved in the alternative music scene in Vilnius as a recording and performing artist. Jauncems spent almost 4 years exploring and living in the Far East and moved back to Europe to complete her second BA degree from Chelsea College of Arts in 2013.

In 2017 Egle completed her MA degree in painting at the Royal College of Art. Recent shows include ‘Pattern Untiteld’ SanMei Gallery, London (2014), ‘Orion’ Cedric Bardawil Gallery, London (2024), ‘Shuttle and Twill’, Tamosaiciai House, Vilnius (2023), ‘Antigone: Women in Fibre Art’ Richard Saltoun Gallery, London (2023), ‘Tapestry from an Asteroid’, Foreign & Domestic, NY (2023), ‘Some Images, Some Manuals’, Palfrey Space, London (2021), ‘Dausuva’, Martynas Mazvydas National Library of Lithuanian, Vilnius (2017), ‘Cybernetic Meadow’, Averard Hotel, London (2016), ‘Khobz’, Marrakesh Biennial (2014), ‘Young Textile Art Triennial’, Central Museum of Textiles, Lodz (2013). In 2015 Egle was awarded the David Hockney Art Foundation Scholarship.
