The larger sculpture is adorned with quartz crystal points, while the smaller one features a combination of quartz and Herkimer diamonds.

About the Artist
Valerie Savchits is a multidisciplinary artist, born in Riga, Latvia. Since completing her master's degree at the University of Brighton in 2022, her work has been shown nationally and internationally, including Saatchi Gallery in London, Zuzeum Art Centre in Riga and La Causa Galeria in Madrid. Savchits' body of work comprises primarily paintings but also drawings and prints as well as small-scale sculptures made of clay, raw minerals and metal. By weaving her personal narratives, observations, and memories into her mythological system, Savchits aims to create thought-provoking experiences. She draws inspiration from a diverse range of sources, including cosmic symbolism, hauntology, gothic aesthetics, manga, anime and video games. The artist currently lives and works in Brighton, UK.
