"Every year I decide this will be the one where I will tackle watercolour and win. I hardly ever make work on paper. It is a difficult balance between the action the emotion and the material. Hedging the highlight.
You have to commit and I am constantly changing my mind.

About the Artist
Bright studied at Camberwell School of Art and Goldsmiths, and is currently Associate Professor at the Slade School of Fine Art UCL. She has had solo exhibitions at the Centro Internacional de Arte de Salamanca, Spain; The New Art Gallery Walsall, UK; Vitamin Contemporary Art, Turin, Italy; and the Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle, UK.
