About the Artist

Works are improvised and experimental, exploring the pull between chaos and control in the process of their making. Practice is characterised by fragmented, non-linear narratives-making leaps between different places, times and contexts, forcing viewers to acknowledge complex relations and the inextricable connection between individual and society. Combining industrial fabrication and experiments with traditional techniques explores the affective power of materials in destabilising the distinction between the modern pre-modern and future.
