About the Artist:

Orla Kane's practice is a poetic exchange between personal memories and landscapes. The idea of a landscape is disrupted and abstracted into vessels often reflecting bodily forms.

Orla Kane (B.1999) is a Scottish artist based in Glasgow. She graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 2021 before attending the Royal Drawing School’s Intensive Term in 2022. Orla has exhibited work across the UK including solo shows at Stallan-Brand and Boardroom Committee Room and participating in groups shows with SSA at the Royal Scottish Academy.
